We raced last night instead of tonight and I guess I was the last to realize the schedule change, lol! Finished 4th but I swear this class is sooo dang rough I can't understand it. So, no you aren't a thread killer chix, just on when everyone else was gone I guess

LMC, the chick pic is so cute! And SE, fourth isn't so bad, especially in such a rough class!! Hopefully, the rough ones will fall out before too long and you can get down to some real racing. Rubbin' may be racin', but it's not so much fun when it's your car getting rubbed, I'm sure!

I think we all have spring fever and outside. I know I have been. Still working through my list of stuff to do. Planted some calla lilies where my hostas used to be. Love them...

Got the pavers done. Tomorrow is back at getting more done. It never ends.

I'm pooped going to get hot tub and bed to start again tomorrow.
Funny story. Polish friend was hanging out with me this evening in the flower bed and I had to go get some mulch and I saw a dog nearby so I loaded up Polish friend on the 4 wheeler and headed out. She didn't mind it at all. Wind blowing her hair.

I know we have spring fever... we where outside today by 7am working on the

coop and just now came in for the night. We also had Dd14 soccer game. I'm getting a farmers tan already

Happy belated birthday Karanleaf sorry for missing it. hope it was a good one. I love your how are you sunshine gif.

well I have been busy getting sponsers and such togather for the sassys and then getting other odds and ends tied up round here.
with the weekend brought storms and with the storms brought allergys and with that I end up with sick kids. but all in all its been a fairly quite weekend. good news is that I was about a week off on my bator hatch and was begining to worry I lost them all but then saturday dh called me up a my moms and said almost all of the eggs have hatched, and so now I have 4 left to go and I have candled and felt them all and their still kicking a pecking to gett out so this might end up being a 100% hatch.

well other than that I might be getting my laptop back finally after a year and a half of waiting I will have to wait until my b-day though as it is my gift from hubby to have it sent back. so 3 more weeks May 9th get here soon. well I must be off hope everyone else is doing great. chat later. Maw.

We have kept the day ranging ducks and chickens in We have 6 very large predator birds flying and sitting in our Pine trees just 50feet from our coop. Well there has been a hen pacing like crazy the corner by the pen door.

As soon as Noah goes to feed and water them again this evening that hen darts out, she goes right to our old central air unit.


This is why we have not gotten many straight Cuckoo Marans eggs this last couple of weeks.

So Dh and I got the pet carrier put it in the duck/chicken shed with fresh straw in it. Then we rounded the hen back in and gathered all the eggs.

So here she is getting the eggs in order.

Question Can I mark these eggs with something other than a pencil and not harm the developing chick? I wish to remove any new ones, so Anyone have suggestions???
