I agree with SE. Having been the self appointed Secret Santa "police" last year, I would not want to "police" an entire forum exchange. We have an amazing group here, I think it will be manageable enough with just us. It will be a secret secret santa thread within our chat...at least I think it will. Of course, her majesty, Queen Scoot will know what to do! ETA: see, she even beat me to posting about it!

Its going to be a hot one here today... saying in the 90's, hoping for no rain today! Need to go pick wildberries and weed more of the garden, I was weeding it yesterday for 2 hours and 35 mins. and still have lots more to go!

I know all about people signing up and not following through. I really like the idea of keeping the secret santa hidden in this thread. What I really need to know is how much stuff do you send. I know one is home made but is that the main gift with a few smaller bought ones? I guess I need examples cuz I don't want to sign up and not have the right idea as to what is expected and dissapoint someone.

That one is really Great you should make some like that for a Fund Raiser for your local Group of Relay for Life.

Algoa I sent my secret Santa Partner A crocheted bag saver, a crocheted Christmas potholder and a holiday note pad and pen and Christmas Tree ornament they weren't extra expencive just cute . Just what ever you think you want to put together in a package , like you would want.

It is just great fun

Keep in mind I will have four little ones age 5 and under, two of them being twins, and one the new baby

I would like to do more home made than that, but if I can't I always make an effort to get something meaningful. I love gift giving!!!!

My DD would love that for Christmas, and I don't think I would have the patience to learn it myself right now...one more new skill might break the camels back
