Speaking of chickens...Lost another one today.

We've discovered we have a mite problem.

Coop is getting an overhaul this weekend with a hosing down of disinfectant (natural of course), a layer of DE, DE dust boxes for the itchy hens to roll around in, and Lots of clean straw for the nest boxes. *sigh* oh yeah and vitamins and vinegar treatments in the water. I think we are down to like 40 chickens from our initial 50.

nah, if I don't do it, I will be upset with myself, so I will keep plugging along.

Purr, if nothing else, we want you to hang around more! Hardly ever see you lately.

I have been so busy, my BFF rented a cottage on the pond 5 min from my house so we have been kayaking and hanging out making puzzles when it rains.

Last night we went to Mohegan Sun to see STYX in concert, it was awesome and now I can't talk from screaming so much. But my back is killing me I threw it out at the gym. On the upside though my doctor gave me vicadin. Wooo hooo.

DD is having surgery next week and I've got all 3 kids. HELP!

I'm want to get started on the SS but the vidadin isn't worn off and I have no idea what I'll end up with so I guess I'll have to wait.

when do we find out who we get.I'd like to custamize the gift to suit the recipient.I have so many ideas

I've been making little leather medicine pouches I'll have to go get my camera out of the saddlebag on the harley and take a pic.They are so cute.

I've been so busy around here lately havent had time to crochet

Need to try to fit some time in today. Looks like everyone is pretty busy too! We look our kids to the county fair yesterday evening, had a great time... if ya want to see pic. check out my blog.

We have been very busy trying to get our coop built before the eggs in the Bator need it. I've never built anything before so this is completely new to me and DH is an auto tech not a carpenter.

But we are winging it and so far so good I think.

I've been working on a cross-stitch bookmark and the baby blanket that I'm crocheting. But not enough to tell that I've even been working on it. So, I've made myself a promise. Every night I will make myself sit down and work on at least one of them. They have to get done so that I can start something else...

Okie, I'm glad that you are ok. When I was nesting I done all kinds of crazy things. My DH caught me up on the stove trying to clean the top of the vent hood one day. He took the step stools to work with him after that...

I want to be able to customize my gift to my person as well. So, I think we should know as soon after the deadline as possible. That way even slow people like me can get everything finished up in time.

DH is gone to Nashville today to buy another Intrepid for me. He totalled mine in an auto accident back in Dec.

I'm tired of driving this gas hog with just two people going to town.

i agree about customizing the gift for the person you have...so i have a question then for you.....do you want to to move the deadline up so you can get started on them say like in the next couple of months?

Went to get my Non Stress Test today and they checked to make sure everything was okay, and so far so good

Baby is moving great, no leakage and all that. I knew everything was fine, but I wanted to be on the safe side. I will try to get back to everyone's posts a little later on...For now, I'm going to lay down for a bit
