lovemychix - that's a lot of $$$ and I would deffinately say something to them about adjusting that bill. It should've been fixed when they left the house. If DH won't say anything I would step up and say something. Who cares if they think the 'b' word... let them think and save the checkbook for that hutch...

A friend from high school passed away unexpectedly and his funeral was on Fri(my birthday)

Despite that, my husband took me out for my birthday and we went shopping to try and find me some clothes that fit. Then we went to the mall and I got two pairs of fancy froo froo earrings for $6.50!!!

Then we went to this place called Pink Swirls that has the yummiest frozen yogurt evar!!!! You put it in a cup and then you go to the "bar" and put all of the toppings that you want in it. But you pay by weight, so you have to be careful LOL It was soooo good though! Then we came home and just crashed! We took the opportunity to sleep, and the baby slept from 1 AM to 7AM!!!! YEAH!!!!

The next morning, my husband and I got up and we just sat around and relaxed a bit. I forgot to mention that my 4 oldest kids were at grandmas, so we got some much needed and very rare quiet time. Then we went to Panera Bread for brunch(one of my favorite places to eat!) and after that we went back to Pink Swirls(that stuff is soooo good!) and I got a vanilla frozen yogurt with strawberries, watermelon, kiwi fruit, and pineapple on it

Then we went to the OKC Museum of art to see the impressionist paintings that are on exhibit there. I got to see Monet's Waterlillies!!!!!

And we also got to see the Chihuly glass.

After that we went to my parents house, where my mom and my sister had made me a really cool Candy land cake!!! Candy land was a big deal to me when I was little b/c I used to play it with my grandma who is passed away. They also gave me the actual game!! It's a vintage candy land game and I had always hoped that I would get it. So my birthday was pretty awesome! I hadn't expected much b/c the baby had just been born and we were soo tired, but it turned out great! I feel really loved.

yep lmc, just like the others, I would say something to them about the bill, especially if it ends up being the same thing & same area.

LMC I would be all over the poo people about getting your problem fixed and I can't see how you should pay anything since they didn't fix it the first time. I would tell them that too. Wish I was there, I could go all redneck on them for ya.

We went back to the lake for the 3rd Sunday in a row. I am about all laked out. I think we will do something different next weekend. It was actually a little cold once we got wet and then tried to get out.

SE thanks for the suggestions for the elderberries.

Actually I was just being a smart butt about what I am going to do with them. I always pick too many at a time then have to rush so they don't go bad befor I get them put up. I always make jam with them.
Who ever is my SS partner, you can expect to get some of them, hope you like elderberries!

I'm here, too. I checked the site when I came home from work and nothing so I wondered where everyone was. Guess it's a busy Monday for everyone. I'm getting 7 eggs a day now out of ten hens, the triple digits are gone so the zucchini, peppers and tomatoes are starting to bloom or produce. Can still get more veggies before we get a frost.

This was in my email today and it is just soooooooooooo cute!!! Jen could whip it out in an hour or so, lol!! I have a cone of christmas yarn in these colors, might give it a go myself, I think it would be a nice gift!! Have a great day all!!!

On top of all of this this weekend I got bit by a spider.

My knee is 2 times it's regular size. I look really weird. I have been taking a little benadryl and I feel like I'm out of it half the time and just want to sleep but I can't do that. I have so much to do. Knee looks better today!
I'll stop whining now.

I have been really thinking about my homemade SS gift. I want to do something that isn' t crochet since we can all do that and I think I have a good one in mind.

We send all our gifts in one box all at once right? I missed out on this last year so this is my first time.

Baustin: Same here. My tomatoes didn't do so great.

Too wet this summer again. They just look terrible. I canned a ton of beans and other stuff.

Our tomatoes finally came in about 3 weeks ago... going to freeze some more today and make some pasta sauce. Think I'll work some more on our bed spread afghan
