I am the only person in my family that hates pink. Even my burly Dad doesn't mind it. But I really give him heck if he tries to wear it.

Kate that is a great job that your student did!!! Amazing for a beginner! (don't tell her about us pink haters, ok?)

Kim your driveway sounds like mine! I may not have woods but there are a ton of large sagebrush and rabbit brush bushes (etc) that hide a multitude of noisy critters and I get pretty spooked sometimes at night! Even the coyotes can be a little unsettling when there is a large group of them very close by howling up a storm!

I'm always tempted to drive down to the mailbox at night since I can't even see my house from the bottom of my drive.

I went to the online site and got a cute free pattern for a little heart that is really easy, I made two in fifteen minutes!

Oh the Red Heart site had a cute stuffed heart pattern for free on it's site too. Sooo cute. I plan on making a few for the grandkids to hang on the tree!

Oh yea, forgot to add that my DD also hates pink. She refused to wear it since she was about 10 yrs old or so. I think now she's better about maybe wearing something that might have a smighen of it in a print, but in the past she would refuse that.

Well, my girl came in this morning with 4 squares in different colors. That green and pink are for the Spring swap, I hope they are ok. She's excited and the others are jealous that she got it figured out so quickly.

Hmmmm..... Is pink in the palette for the spring swap???? I wasn't sure if Betty posted it or not. I must have missed it if she did. It wouldn't surprise me if I missed it b/c I've been brain dead since hubby's b-day party from lack of sleep and trying to catch up on everything that was neglected while I was running around getting the party together. I just know a lot of pink haters posting, so wasn't sure.
