So next time you are in serious trouble - robbed, attacked, in need of urgent help, call a plumber.

Police have pretty broad authority, I am sure they could come up with a reason for just about anything if they had to. The law in Oregon is once your foot leaves the curb you are SUPPOSED to be safe to cross. Using common sense and remaining calm, civil, respectful and for God sakes make sure your battle is worth fighting. You will most likely get shined on and nothing will be made of the incident except maybe a be careful next time to the officer.

Nope... Dont even know any.

Yelled at a few cops over the years to though. Cops are human to. They sometimes need a good tongue lashing too.

Yeah, alot of people seem to forget that part. They are only human and like the rest of us, make mistakes. So why is it when someone has a beef with a cop, everyone and their brother jumps on the bandwagon to complain about them or tell their own "bad cop story"; or worse, tell a freakin donut joke. The BYC rules mention not bashing a profession, but everyone seems to think it's okay if it's only cops that are being bashed.

Just reminds me to pray each day when my husband puts on his uniform that the ones he may end up having to put his life on the line for aren't some of the cop haters in the world (and there are lots of em).

People only hate cops until they NEED them-then, all of a sudden, they can't call 'em fast enough...funny how that works, huh?

I was a firemen an part of the EMS system for 13 years. I have also seen the other side of a jail cell door many times. If I was cop bashing you would know. I have stories. I do try to be an equal opportunity basher though.

There is good an bad in any job, cops just effect our lives more than most jobs. A good cop is one that did his job right an is not remembered for it. A bad cop is doing something that makes people remember them. There is not many bad cops, they are just remembered more.

Same goes for the people who can't be bothered with pulling over to allow a police car, with siren and lights, to pass. They better hope it's not one of their loved ones that has a knife held to their throat (or other such urgency) that the cop is trying to get to in time.

Which is it? Were you IN the walkway or not?

You want to get her in trouble for not following the law and yet you haven't verified it it's legal or not?

"inbetween Two" is not the same as "in a school walkway". One says there were 2 walkways, one says 1 walkway.
