My biggest disappointment this year was in the BBRs. I just didn't get out the numbers that I expected. I've got a few that are very young (10 weeks). We'll have to see how they finish out.

I did get out 2 or3 good whites that are going to be BEASTS! You'll love them.

What I'm lacking in the whites is pullets/hens. You think you might have an extra one?

We hatched 2 white males, and four white pullets. Then we lost the cock bird, so we are breeding the younger males back to the mom and all the sisters. We finally hatched our first Duckwing pullet since we started. and we have several sports, many Red Pyles and BB Reds, and quite a few Blue Reds. Hopefully this fall we are hoping to get some Blacks from Doc, but you know how that goes

I have over 30 white chicks right now, around 20 mixed between- BB red/GDW/SDW, and a handful of brown reds, one pyle, and some odd spangled mottled looking guys. I have over a dozen Gold Duckwing cockerels, for some reason, that is mostly what came out of the eggs this year. I am always up for a trade with some of you fellow enthusiasts. Hopefully they mature nicely, my oldest are only 5-6 weeks ish, with a final batch due Saturday.

There should be no problem getting you some blacks. The pullets will be good and black, but the male will more than likely have some red in the hackle and saddle. Are y'all flying to Indy or driving?
