Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

Hey there made a very good mexican something had heat was chicken for a meat yes I know..
I cut it cooked it 1 jalapeno, red pepper flakes, cumin, sour cream .. Blended the roma tomato
and tomatillo turned out very flavorful
Sounds delicious. It's my favorite kind of Mexican food when it's not in a tortilla. That's how they cook more often in Mexico. It's all about the flavor!!

So, it already reads unclear to me thinking of someone else looking at it. But I use 3/4 cup of the enchilada sauce and add it to the meat, which wasn't called for but I screwed up the first time I made it and liked it. :p I use to use 9 full size shells in one 9x13 pan, but now use 8 shells in one pan and 2 shells in an 8x8. I always use all of the sauce, but it does make quite a bit.

Absolutely! We enjoy it. To be honest, I've never had authentic Mexican food. Just not something we have around here. There might be better places than there used to be, but I've got a bit of a phobia of eating out at restaurants.

I lived in So Cal for 40 years, and in my early life ventured into Mexico. It used to be safer than it is now. I love all kinds of food, but Mexican is one of my top 3 anyway. I'm always ready to try a new recipe even if it's something I already make. And when I can get a quick one for those busy days when we're exhausted, even better. For your recipe I would usually have those ingredients on hand.

Funny sent the son to our local grocer wanted 3 roma tomato 3 tomatillo
they said their tomatilla had not come in go next door to the new mexican resteraunt they may have some ... she smiled gave the Son 3 charged him 50 cents
Any time you can go to a Mexican or Indian food store for ingredients to their dishes, you will save money. If I were close to an Indian grocer, I'd buy as many dried herbs as I could there. You get this huge bag of cilantro for the price of a bottle. Many many other herbs as well.

And by the way, Chana Masala is easy to make, once you have the spices, which you have to get from an Indian grocer. Have some chickpeas in the cupboard and the spices and you have a great dish. Naan is easy to make too, but our grocer has it in the bakery.
