Curled comb

So my chicken is broody and her comb is all curled up like she is dehydrated. What should I do?

How long has she been broody? Hens that are broody typically have smaller, less colorful combs. Make sure she is getting off the nest at least once a day to re-hydrate, though

Perfectly normal, especially if they began with really large combs. This is my determined girl:

She's only been setting for a week. The other Leghorn that hatched out eggs this year had a very shriveled comb by the time she was done. And I dump/dumped both of them off of the nest every day.

Another question for @FarmerGirl101 is if this girl is sitting on fertile eggs? If you aren't planning on her hatching eggs for you, then I would break her, especially with the HOT weather that California is having.

Do you have her in a separate, protected area so the rest of the flock won't bother her too much?
If she's sitting on fertile eggs, I would not move her unless absolutely necessary.
