Cutting the feed cost of chickens

The best way to cut cost is feed a quality feed (don't cut nutrition to save a few $ they will either need more feed to get appropriate nutrition, need supplemental additives or be in subpar condition....all of which cost rather than save) and eliminate feed wastage either by using a feeder that eliminates spillage or using a feed approach like fermented feed.
Thanks for the info I will definitely try fermenting the feed. I have heard it has better health benefits.

Wow, 90 chicks is a lot!!! Sorry, I'm not as experienced (or brave) as you. Good luck and have fun raising all those birds!
