Really ron? I was thinking of just tossing them if they don't come by Wed. :/
I actually set those 36 eggs last Fri. So a day early, because they came on Thurs. Oh well, didn't set them on Sat. But close! I just waited to see if the other eggs would come today before I told the number. If those other eggs come tomorrow, they certainly won't be set on time. But that's ok, I'm just wondering if the eggs will be ok. Will see I guess.
If they were packed well and not handled too roughly they will be fine!
Wisher1000 shipped hatching eggs to me as part of the great egg shipping experiment--by ground by mistake. Shipment was over a holiday weekend and took 8 days to get here! I hatched a bunch of them too.
I am hoping the best for you!

The worst that would happen is that the hatch rate may be lower on the oldest eggs. You will not know which eggs are the oldest because most sellers do not write the date collected on the eggs.
I have had fairly old eggs hatch. Those that do not develop by day seven can be cooked up and fed to the chickens too!
These are from me. I shipped to her in December & they took a whole week to get to her. None hatched from almost 4 dozen, but it was extremely cold then & some of the eggs were over a week old before shipping because I sent her everything I had. I was in the middle of moving & couldn't set them myself. This time, nothing was over 4 days old when I shipped & weather is much warmer. Hopefully, they will still hatch this time.
Awwwwww, that one is hooked now!

She has her own chicken chores. It's her job to help Mamaw gather eggs in the morning, and she feeds and waters the chicks in the grow out/brooder pen. She also helps to name them. Which is why we have a Dora and Diego, Prince Eric, Tinkerbell and Periwinkle, Anna and Elsa, Paprika and Max and Ruby. Max was the first of ours to go to freezer camp. We didn't let her see the actual death, but she did help with plucking and she helped me to cook "Max and dumplings."
