Thank you for being kind, Ron, but I don't mind confessing (or telling on myself) that it was not a mistake, it was ignorance. I didn't have a clue what I was doing when I went to the PO to ship that first box. But, hey, I was after all, doing the "Great Egg Shipping Experiment!" I learned a lot and I think a lot of others have as well.

If you haven't had any (much) experience in shipping eggs, check it out!

It is so helpful and still going this year.

Quailtrail say there are bubbles in the air cell on one of the eggs! Shipping was hard on that egg. Keep it resting upright in the incubator for 5 days. Happy chooks says to not expect much.

Cynthia12 hopes she has some egg fertilized by the Rooster Blue Boy. Arielle hopes he was doing his job!

Sally Sunshine’s little one is doing better! He still has a slight fever but is playing!

Foxvalleyfarm posted a picture of a duck egg with a terrible air cell with a vein that could be pipped easily! Will try using an egg carton to position the egg so that the duckling does not pip the vein.

Cacklejoy asked if veins are visible on day 10 for Turkeys. Yes they should be!
