I eat 'em...........and you know what.....they taste just like chicken but better! LoL! I will not be the one to do the deed but I will assist in all other aspects of the butchering and cleaning once the head and feet are gone, I know....I'm a whimp, but I just can't see their little faces.
Congrats on the egg drom.....it is lovely! They all are!
I'm not too excited with egg color this year from my youngest blue coppers, thinking of holding off on all hatching egg orders and waiting till the new batch of BCM's start laying and use them to cross with the Blues and see how that helps with egg color. Just don't know if I am happy with them or not yet, pretty put off with my 3rd gen gals. I don't understand egg color stayed consistent until this generation. Maybe my project pen of the blues and splashes should have been an inclination to me but I was hoping for the best, so I guess it's back to the drawing board.
How ever I am estatic with my new generation of Welsummers and their egg color.....will try to get some photos of those up pretty soon.
