Hatching is a wonderful, amazing experience. The beginning of life, and you had a hand in bringing it to fruition.
You do need to be prepared for some losses. It's a true struggle for those little ones to make it into this hard world from the shelter of that perfectly conditioned shell. So if you have a loss, please try to be philosophical about it, learn why it may have happened, and make adjustments next time that are within your control.

Happy ducking! This was my first hatch of Call Ducks. @RavynFallen mentored me on their specific needs and 6 hatched strong and healthy out of 6 shipped eggs.
I couldn't keep those (250 chickens and 50 turkeys leave little room for ducks) but I love ducklings!
