day one of my coop construction(COMPLETE/ UPDATE)

started with the base around 9am this morning

framed it up

in the back is the nest boxes(bottom) and above that will be the roost

next we framed the roof

then we moved it to its final location in the back yard

then all the sudden we had a rain storm and had to bring it back into the carport so we could add the walls

that was all for the day and we ended it at 7:30. next week we are going to paint it a build the run. that will be it and the chickens should be ready to move in soon after that.





all done now. the roof gets shingles on monday.

i forgot to mention i was given 3 sheets of plywood but i had to buy the rest of the material and it so far has only totaled about $80.
