December hatch along

watching the hatching here is making me even more excited about my upcoming hatch! I was going to skip the day 14 candling but ended up candling last night! removed the dud....other 8 still going strong! lockdown scheduled for wednesday night and based on the looks of these guys I will not be surprised if I start seeing pips/and or hatching thursday or friday! it has the potential to be my most successful hatch to date!!

I’m teting to set up a hatch cam so I can watch them while I’m at work. I work Thurs fri sat their due date is Sunday but some of them could start pipin Thursday I don’t thibk my hubby cares as much as me

Couldn't wait and decided to candle at late day 6, early day 7 and I'm ready to cry...

All 3 are developing despite our temperature issues!! Great veins, air cell, and embryo. Going to get a better light (did a quick check with phone light) and take pictures but I'm painfully excited now!!

I didn’t think my wife cared as much as me until my eggs were in lockdown and she called me thinking one had pipped she was super excited and wanted to know what she needed to do I told her nothing just keep an eye on it when I go home that morning I found it hadn’t actually pipped but the other egg pipped but she gets super excited when they hatch and super bummed when they don’t she told me no hatching shipped eggs cause it’s to depressing

I had a total of 10 failiures, 2 were removed and 2 not in the picture. out of 36. Not sure why they failed. the 2 that I am sure of had a full yolk in them, probably double yolkers that I didn't catch while candling. Or that's what my memory tells me. already forgetting this hatch as my mind focuses on the next hatch.
