Oh I see, I didn't even think about the breeding aspect. I free range my flocks together but if I wanted to breed in the future, could I just pull my brahma roo & a couple of my brahma hens and house them together for a couple of weeks? Or is this too disruptive for them?

Out of curiosity, how big are your Brahma's getting?
They are 13 weeks old and my roo when he stands tall is about 2 feet. the girls are about the size of an Adult australorp. My roo has stare downs with one of me dogs. My dog wil kill him if he ever got into the coup, but that roo is brave except when it comes to the adult hen that I also have in their with them. She rules the yard. They all run from her and she is little and sweet but. They should be fine being housed with others. I let my polish babies now 8 weeks hang out with the brahmas. My brahmas are very docile and lay with them in the shade. Oh I don't know about anyone else but my brahmas love water. I got them a kiddie pool and they are always laying in it but pull out the hose and they run like they will melt if they get wet.
