Delawares from kathyinmo

I just found 9 ee eggs laid behind the door in the coop. The solid door is open 24/7. I have a storm door that is closed all the time. It has a window to let light in and so far predator proof. I will have to check there from now on.
about 2 years ago egg production dropped about 75% and I couldn't figure it out for 4 days. We had a blue supplement cattle feed tub up side down next to the coop.
I used it to haul coop litter to the tractor bucket. The bucket was sitting on the edge of a 4x4 and permuted just enough space to allow a hen to crawl under. When
I flipped the bucket over there was a clutch of about twenty eggs in one big pile.

NYReds has posted "Good bye - no more BYC"
Walt would know how to contact him.

He frequents Showbirdbid.com with the same user name. Maybe a private message from that forum would work but when Kim and I have posted questions on that forum and BYC when he was still on, he would not respond. He posted once that one of his pullets from Kathy won something at a show and when we asked questions and wanted him to post pics. there was no response.......... Very disappointing as I am sure he could help us all a lot.

Four Delaware chicks so far that I can see without disturbing her. The black fluff under her tail is one of the two Black Copper Marans.
