That bird is colored like a pullet, not a cockerel, cockerels of that coloration have black bellies and chests.
One of your others must be doing it if there is crowing.

That's a brown leghorn pullet. cockerels are colored differently, here's a shot of one from a recent thread

this guy is rose combed, not straight combed, but even discarding that you can see the difference in color. Agree with posting pics of the rest of the flock, a rooster should be pretty obvious at this age.

Looks like my welsummers hen..what breed is it?

i know it's not a great picture, but we've had some pretty early morning wake-ups lately and it just occurred to me that this one is awfully tall with a big comb. what do you think?
