Difference between Muscovy and Domestic ducklings

Nope not Muscovy or could it be a cross? My Muscovy drake does not mate with my Runners or Buffs
I didn't see the Muscovy drakes mating my Domestics, but did witness some of the opposite. So, always a possibility of getting some cross-breeds.

Yeah my Runner drake goes after the Muscovy girls so I keep him and his flock separated since he is relentless and they are too old to put up with his stinkery ways. Lol
We need some sort way of reducing their libido. Anti-aphrodisiac.

Now that they are a little bit older, I can tell which are which. The chocolates are definitely scovies, as are the two yellows (one white, one barred). Still on the fence though about Smudge. He might be a mix.

The two little blacks, and the yellow and the pied are Domestics.

Here is a very quick little video of some of them bathing this morning:

Which one is the barred? The dark tailed one?

Correct. Although usually a barred has a darker bill, but I'm wondering if this one might be either blue or chocolate barred. I know my flock carries the gene, particularly in my chocolates.

Huh. I have one like that, I wonder if they might have barring. It's pretty noticeable in juvenile plumage, right?
