I ordered 5 EE's from My Pet Chicken this year. They are now 5 months old, and I got my first green egg 2 days ago! And one yesterday too, so I think that at least 2 are laying green. They were very timid, and I handled them a ton. It is only recently, since they started 'squatting' that they have gotten a lot friendlier. 1 EE, Ginger, is the friendliest chicken, but also lowest in the pecking order. She loves when I carry her around and talk to her. I guess she thinks she is a baby. I let her in the house a lot. Her sister Nutmeg is second lowest, and I cannot touch her at all. She will eat out of my hand, though, and is always pretty close to me, so I guess you could call her friendly. The other 3 fit in very well with the rest of the flock.
All 5 have willow colored legs, beards and muffs. People always comment on how cute they are. A little off topic, but I also ordered Barred Rocks from MPC and they are great birds too. I wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future. But with 42 birds, I think we are set for several years! I like that MPC actually advertises them as "Easter Eggers". I know that not a lot of hatcheries do that.
Not a great picture, but here is Nutmeg. Ginger and Egg Drop have similar coloring but they are prettier. The last one, Ellie, is striking because she has a red head, dark beard and muffs and a partridge body. They don't stay still enough to get a good picture:
