Dirty belly feathers or down

Ok so recently I noticed that my chickens are getting dirty belly feathers is it from dirty and wet pine shavings or from not having a little roost in the brooder or mites I did put vet rx on the dirty parts of their belly to see if it was mites discard the wet look just put vet rx for chickens on her belly. Also changed their bedding. Also got a baby duck with them. also put a roost in there

The wet feathers are very likely from the pine shaving/straw being wet. I doubt it is from mites or lack of a roost.

No the feathers ant wet feeling when I touch them just matted and dry probably from the wet shavings do to duck duck my daughter's duckling playing with the water with its beak lol
