Hello, I have been incubating silkie chicken eggs for 8 days now and I just read something about not putting dirty eggs in the incubator. I already put a dirty egg as shown in the pic and was wondering if it would be fine. I candled them yesterday and everything seemed to be fine with the embryo development. Will this be a problem in the future? Thanks so much!

Okay thanks. Also I candled the eggs on day 7 and two seemed to be duds and had blood rings so I threw them out. There was another one which I wasn’t sure about so I left it in just in case. Should I candle it now or will that disturb the other eggs? And will it explode if I don’t remove it?

I'm pretty sure its rare for a egg to explode on its own, especially this early. Maybe wait till day 10-12 to candle again? You should be able to tell if its developing or not by then.
