Distressed about a Lethargic chicken

Culling means to remove her, in the case that would be euthanasia. That, of course, is your decision. Whatever you choose, if she does loose her battle, I would highly recommend a necropsy to ensure the health of the rest of the flock.

I can understand you being exhausted. I'm sure you both are. I'm glad you've decided to try and keep going. I'm rooting for you guys! It's better to see the weight stay today than drop.

I don't know what culling is but I guess she heard my sobbing stood up walked over to the box watching me cry. We had just fed her, maybe she just needed to rest.

I am pretty exhausted. I am not going to give up. She hasn't and I am going to give her my time and care.
Take that poop to the vet and have them check for worm eggs, bacteria, coccidia and yeast.

Thank you all again. I am very grateful that this forum exists. As I posted earlier today. I am going to make that sick bird kit. Still no word from the vet on what the stool sample showed. She went very fast for that I am grateful too.

i spoke to the vet this morning and both stools were negative. So the rest of the girls are ok and strong. The Vet thought she may of had a secondary infection. I think I did something wrong. We will never know but we will be more vigilant.
