Dixie Chicks

Not an expert here I just read this on line about fifteen minutes ago 12-13 is a normal amount.... this was her first litter so who knows...

When I had my brief Year of the Rabbits we started off with small litters, too. But -- wow! -- I started supplementing Calf Manna and got lots (13 per litter) big bruiser kits.

Nothing cuter than a baby rabbit....probably why I tolerate the wild ones on the property with their little tennis ball sized body and pingpong ball head.

Bc, Deb, I'd say a normal litter would be 6-12, but they can have even more, or less.

Beer, most Finns speak English at some level, depends on where you're from, what you work with, and how old you are. But you'll have no problems here as a tourist.

Optimal litters for rabbits is 8... too many and momma bunny can have issues with her own health and/or not all kits will get full nutrition... some mommas will give til they have nothing left, or they won't give enough time for all babies to get a turn to nurse... just some food for thought... :)

Raining again... although not too intensively, and it was getting quite dry so it's really doing some good here. The lawn is looking super lush and green. I hope the back yard bounces back after the winter soon too. It get's a bit too much dog pee on it in wintertime. I've tried to add some egg shell crush to the spots with yellow grass, we'll see how it goes.
I'm also excited to see if the rhubarb takes off like crazy, I added about a quart of rabbit poop around it, just dug it in a bit under the surface.
