My other favorite color, I think I have two of this color (again... All photos, from Boggy Bottom)

Pretty sure I have 4 of these, I am "meh" about the color, but 2 of my kids think it is an awesome color.

I am drooly over this color... Don't think I got any... Looks like an Isabella though, doesn't it?

I got live chicks shipped to me last week... Then I also ordered eggs, should be here today or tomorrow...


The shipped chicks, and some of the eggs are an assortment, I did also order blue and splash eggs.... It will be awesome if the eggs are labeled... But the chicks weren't so I am guessing with the chicks.


What is interesting, is the d'anver chicks are NO WHERE as soft as the Ameraucana chicks. Like a puff ball verses a wash cloth. interesting. Both have fluffy faces.

he has always marked eggs I received from him. They can be in coded though, lol.

No, i will help the zipped one tonight and candle the remaining 2. Last time I checked it still had veins. Starting to think that my hovabtor is running colder then the thermometer says, so everything is delayed by a few days.

bc, I don't think geese would be good protectors, just smaller predators like fox wouldn't mess with them? And cotton patch geese were breed to weed the cotton fields before chemicals, they have a long history of free ranging and evading predators. They have the instinct for it, but are still very docile, they are not mean. And their ability to fly is much better than any other domestic goose, they say they can fly without a running running start, probably from years of getting away from predators in the cotton fields.
