Dixie Chicks

Mini, sorry about loosing a kit. Yeah, like in humans, in bunnies obesity hinders reproductive abilities a bit... Hope you have better luck next time.

Bama, been saving that thread for when I have time to read it but I guess I'll have to take a peak.
I am hoping so too. Can't complain, got 3 does for $25 total and owned them for a week and that number doubles. They are a buck and 2 does. I have a doe sold and I planned on keeping the buck. We may keep the other doe also to use as a breeder. The neighbor has new Zealand and told me we could breed to his buck of we wanted

We used a Californian buck for this batch I think. Should make for some slightly quicker growth and not so big bones.

Also, Karin decided to buy a new doe for us too. She's a sable Californian named Coco. She's too young to breed still though, around 6 months old now.

Jem!! :hugs Nice pic of 50! Tell him very nice job! And you to, that looks really pretty...

Ok, just checked on the kits, since more fur had appeared in the toilet so we were worried they weren't being tended to. We found at least 8 really warm and happy little babies there, and they seemed to have full tummies. Some might have been hidden deeper in the fur, but 8 is what Karin managed to count to.
