HI deb. I just want to tell you I really enjoy reading about all your progress, both in your writing endeavors, and weight. Sometimes we all need a word of encouragement. "WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT" LOL!

thank you. soo much. I started the rewrite already. though This past two weeks has been a struggle. Finishing the contest was great but Whew I miss the competition... um er self competition. The weight before thanksgiving was going good. I fell off the wagon after. So a new program was initiates and I am falling back on again.

I just got back from sitting with Grandma shes having a spell of little troubles. She needs to know some one is there. She is going to be 100 in July. Last Thursday she fell and scared us all. She didn't break anything thank goodness. but it shook her confidence. She hopped up when she forgot something in the living room and forgot to take her walker with her. She didnt make it back. and fell.

Today she went in for her eighth or nineth treatment for Wet Macular Degeneration. And in her case the treatments worked. This was the final time they stick a needle in her eye and poke around removing detris.... Gives me the eebie geebies to think of them doing that to her. But they put her on an experimental drug about three treatments ago and its cleaned it out. They have saved her eyesignt.

I sleep with a baby monitor on to listen for her so my sleep is shall we say not the best.

Just so you know, it doesn't hurt a bit when they remove the debris. Dh had it done, and I am needing to have it done in one of my eyes too. The drops numb it so well, you don't even know they're doing anything.

That is awesome to hear Deb! Glad they saved her eyesight. That's great you all pull together and help take care of grandma. I'm also impreseed with your writing skills. You'll be back on the right track in no time. We all know you can do it!

thank you.

Already on track with WW. Nice thing about WW is you are only a meal away from being on program.

As far as a plan for writing. I am so old fashioned that I NEED a printed copy. Made that decision last night. So am going to cough up fourteen cents per page to print up my 150 page NANO book... And the three hundred page or more copy of all my chapters for the other book.

I will have them in Three ring binders so I can read and edit...

Deb, a printer will set you back about 50 bucks, and some paper another 5. After that amount you'll need another ink cartridge, at around 20-30 bucks, but I'd suggest you take that route instead of paying for per page printing. Just that amount of pages alone should about even out the cost, and you'll save money in the long run. Plus, you'll have your own printer/copier/scanner. And a quick search on craigslist might even get you the printer for free.

I do have a printer a very nice one. It will print on B sized paper. which is 11 x 17 sized paper for drafting. Its been a work horse but I have NO room for another. INK cartridges for mine run about 40 bucks just for the extra large black ink. I CANNOT fit a whole ream of paper in it.. My bad for not researching it better. The most it will take is about 40 pages at a time.

I would rather spend the money and have it printed off a thumb drive. With equipment that can do it faster and I dont have to maintain. And If I dont like a page I dont have to pay for it. I can also choose different colors for color coding... And the type of binding if I want...

OF course individual pages I will print out here. Or scan I have a number of illustrations that need to be drawn or scanned in as well. Those will be done here.

No I have thought it out. The cost savings vs Time savings. I choose time.
