I am still alive. Trying to get everything settled for winter and move birds out who are to be sold and butcher the extra boys. Its killing me and hoping for less work this winter!
If you figure out how to make that happen, I wanna know your secret!!![]()

I've got a paint cockerel that should carry chocolate and a true chocolate paint pullet. Going to put the three together next year and see what we get. They are bantam size right now but I want to work on making them bigger eventually.X2!!
Think I made a lot more work for myself this winter!![]()

I didn't know if you were able to keep going with that project... that's awesome!!
Sweet!!!

I am going to try dropping a deicer in my 55 gallon waterer and then wrap heat tape around the pvc and tape it to the outside edge of the water cups. This will save me fighting with frozen water for the birds all winter. Once freezing weather starts in I'll turn everyone together and that will (hopefully) be my water supply.
I've got some real stress stuff going on at work, trying to decide what to do. So I decided this evening to take some time to myself and go deer hunting. Relaxation time. But then I get home and it takes me an hour outside in the dark getting all my chicken chores done. Winter is going to be a bear, and I'm not even close to ready. :/
