Would love to see the Derby sometime! Looks fun.

Good luck Al on the hatching marans. I'm trying out 8 more replaced from the Easter hatch that weren't viable. I'll just blame the PO. Can't wait for bama's eggs to get here too. Oh wait, did I already say that? lol

I blame all horse related shows, movies, and books on my love. I've always loved horses of all sorts. I got my first real chance at them in high school when I could join a program called equine science. That's where I got into the standardbreds. I'd ridden and groomed and messed with tons of horses before but not on a daily basis. I'd even go in on Saturday and Sunday to work in the barn cause I wanted to. Lol, and I hated school.

Thanks 'dude!!!! No disclaimer needed. I trust you.
It's the PO people i question. lol the marans came for Easter HAL beautifully packaged & couldn't ask for better hardly. But I think they got cold out on the truck. They weren't shipped too far I could have went and got them in less than a 4hour drive but gas would have been awful. But it still took them 3 days. Now I wouldn't mind a trip to skipperville, but again gas, you know.
