Has anyone made and incubator with another heat source, ie not a light bulb?
i wouldn't mind having a go at making something, but don't like the idea of a light bulb turning on and off.

I repurposed a Little Giant heat element and thermostat and built a wooden incubator. Holds temp and humidity 1000 times better than Styrofoam. Easyer to adjust, too!

I'm looking at building an incubator and I think I'm going to buy this for the heat source? I'll wire a plug into it and plug into a thermostat/ humidistat controller. Does anyone have links to similar builds?

I made my own but it does use a lightbulb. I found a great video on YouTube and made my own:

The temperature has been consistent. I’m using two thermometers (one with a hygrometer) and a 60-watt bulb instead of 40.
