ok, the other night which would have been day 4 for the tylan 50 for Ethel. My husband thought he hit a bone so we stopped and gave it to her the next day. is that ok? or did I mess it up?

You could restart the sulfameth or try aureomycin or another drug that treats E.coli. I wouldn't keep treating with the Tylan. Or check back with the vet. She could use probiotics now too in her diet--Probios powder, cultured buttermilk , or plain yogurt all would be good.
