Do Cayuga take longer? (Hatching)

No external pip yet.
I'm not completely sure on how long it's been internal as I only noticed yesterday
You can wait a bit longer or make a tiny pin hole just above where the beak is
If it’s been longer then 24 hours I do this and most times they still make the external and hatch themselves
I just like a peace of mind
I don’t make it big only a tiny hole the size of my tac pin

Sorry you lost a few that is always heartbreaking, but at least 2 are making progress now that is awesome.
Hopefully duckling #2 makes it because they're in a smaller egg. I've only had 1 other success with a small egg hatching but the was only because we had a hen hatch it out.

So duckling #2 has popped off more of the shell and I can clearly see through....
Um...
I think the lady got her eggs mixed up when she collected them for me. She did tell me she had a Welsh Harlequin flock but she told me that 11/12 of the eggs were Cayugas and 1 was from her Indian Runner flock.

Cayuga eggs are almost black early in the season, turning lighter as it goes until they are blue. What colour were your eggs?
