Do I need to assist with hatching my chick?

I think my hatching chick may be stuck, it's been over 24 hours since he started to hatch. He is try to get out, moving around and peeping but is not breaking the shell. Here is a photo:

Yeah, read the article igorsMistress linked and then assist. If you see any blood or yolk stop immediately and put it back for a while though. Good luck!

Thank you for the help, I did end up assisting him and while doing I realized he wouldn't have come out of the egg on his own.
