Do I Need To Clip Chicken's Nails?

No need to clip these.
X2 those are normal claws.
Now if you are allowing them to jump on you and they are scratching you just do like said and put some bricks or concrete blocks in the pen/coop. Might even take some sand paper and round the points over but no cutting needed.

Why are they so long? They shouldn’t be that long if the bird has access to dirt and stuff to file nails down.
My hens have access to the same space with plenty of dirts and rocks and their nails get clipped on the same day but I've found my leghorns' nails grow faster than my BOs or EE even though my leghorns are more active. There are many factors that you need to take into account.

You clip them. It's from them being too long and having to turn to be flat footed. Unfortunately all my birds need to have their nails clipped. Even the ones that can roam around.
If they are starting to twist, there is a good chance they are too long and need to be clipped.
