if you think it's cruel to kill a dog or cat or horse and eat it why would you think differently upon a chicken.

Because chickens are livestock. Meat is a large part of what they are FOR.

People are so mean about older horses, but age is just a number. Mine is smazing

I know mine are so good and my white mirror who's 19 people always can't believe it when I tell them especially after they see her ride she is so energetic and Spunky and always has a little attitude LOL. Actually for Halloween the first year I had her we dressed her up as a unicorn she was so beautiful. Have you ever tried coloring their hair with hair chalk I do it on my gray mare Hollywood and my miniature horse, I'll post a pick up to explain his name, Fabio.

Really! Cool! Here’s my baby her name is tequila. She’s 17 and rides like a pro. She’s a rescue mare from a neglect case. I also got her friend named candy. Have you ever curled your horses hair?

Just sharing my spoiling the flock today: first they got some scrambled egg which is there favorite, then when I do there water I put duvet layer boost, hydro hen powder, fine feather supplement, oregano extract, apple cider vinegar, duvet durastat in 2 out of the 3 waters and I also have 3 feeders which everywhere month I put the poultry store respiratory and dewormer powder in. They get scrambled egg 2-3 times weekly and when it's hot they get watermelon rind with a little pink left on when the garden starts producing they will also get some veggies. And of course they all have names and I always baby talk them even the roo which he doesn't like in front of his girls lol . This is my coop which we put sod down most of the run and sand on the ends it is always decorated I'll take a more resent picture later. We have a herb garden around it and blinds for shade for them.

I have a bit of everything. Sapphire gems, a barred rock, an Americana, a leg horn, done ISA browns, a golden comet, an Easter egger, and some who knows what’s. I also have three ducks and two turkeys

Agreed. Horses would be working animals. Family story of my grandfather--people wondered how he got enough ration cards during WWII for a steak dinner party. It was horse.
