The only one here of the top of my head that I know actually has had a dobie is @MotherofOrpies

I know you can though. Just might be difficult with the high prey drive

Have y'all gotten them to behave around small animals?

I've had 6. All rescues. Up to 3 at once.

All have been fine with small dogs and my 6# cat.

Wild small animals were tug-of-war objects. Out of the six, my current girl would have had the best shot at being good with my chickens. But still a risk. She is a woodchuck killer and killed a rabbit with her previous owner.

I didn't bother trying to get my dogs to accept my flock for many reasons not the least of which is because I don't leave my dogs out. They go out to go potty and they go out when I take them for their daily runs or when I go to stores that permit them entry. Otherwise they're house dogs.
