With that said, I have a SLEW of roos and aside from one challenger attempting to take on my dominant Rooster once, there isn't much strife in my flock at all. (The challenger was feeling his oats; he is young and he's going to be bigger than the Boss Rooster, but after a whole lot of screaming, squawking, crest flaring, leaping at each other and losing only feathers, the challenger gave up. He now avoids the Boss Rooster at all costs.)
My dominant rooster is an EE. I have some up-and-coming Jersey Giants who are SO mellow... but they aren't top roosters, so they're staying low on the radar.
