Does any one use ivermectin in chickens ?

The weaker birds will probably die anyway but unless you have quarantined them then you should still treat with Ivermectin.

I saw this...

They wont eat due to the anemia but they do drink. None of my hens have recovered when they get to this stage but you must try.

One thing I noticed was their eye lids turned black..

Chicken anaemia virus, or CAV, is a member of the circoviridae family and has the same symptoms as the anemia from red mite. They say its incurable and cull the infected birds. Its getting the proteins into the birds as they refuse to eat.

Have a good go with your poorly hen, I hope she recovers..

guard41, your the most gung-ho mite fighter I've ever encountered. I'm sure there's some that are reading your reply's and thinking your off your rocker a wee bit. If they had to deal with what you've recently went through, they would be reading you a bit differently. I feel your pain my friend.
I don't have time to wait on the product you've stated but I may be ordering it just to have on hand in the future. It doesn't have near the permethrins of the product I'm heading to town to pick up but I haven't researched all its listed ingredients.

Wish me luck...oh and I think I see something crawling around arms!!..hahahha
