Dog thread!🐾

Under Grooming, they have a quote from a breeder that says she never brushes, but does bath and dry often, especially after splitting the cords when they distant developing
I'm thinking that they'll be more than I want to maintain for a dog that will be living outside with the animals. So, I'll probably just completely scrap the idea of a dog staying with the sheep and goats since I'm not liking any of the other options

Hello 👋 I am new to this thread

- do you do any dog sports or want to do any? I want to do IPO and Herding and Agility once I am older and have my own dogs
-do you show dogs? No but I would love to and I watch AKC and Westminster and the dog show and my county fair when I show my turkey and hens.

-whats your favourite breed/what breed do you want to get? My favorite breed is a Belgian Malinois. I want a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, a Border Collie, and a Working Line GSD

-introduce your dog. This is my dog Ollie. He is a 4 year old Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog/Pitbull/Supermitt mix.

Genetics are so interesting to me. I would have guessed he’s purebred.

Well what I said applies for all breeds IMO. But yes, not many households will be happy with a primitive breed. But as long as there
So in other words, very few households.

Don't get me wrong, Aussies ARE NOT right for most households.

are devoted people keeping them alive, and we continue to advocate for them, then that's fine
