Dog thread!🐾

Yeah, if one needed rescuing. They seem like great dogs and I’ve done a lot research on them because I used to want one. And still do one day. But I’ve never once seen one in rescue here.
My uncle rescued one.
According to the Club, "It's the clown prince of dogs, and not likely to ever be allowed to go off leash"

They get listed as 'Sheepdogs' sometimes.

Yeah I remember reading the clown part. I’d still take one even with the no off leash thing. I love goofy clownish dogs. Brew is a big goof himself lol

Does your uncle regret getting him orrr?

I'm pretty confident that a large sum of the population doesn't hunt with their dogs. I'd know, hunting is really big here. I'm really interested to know why you believe a primitive breed would have me in court, or would lead to a child being bitten
You're projecting
I haven't even advocated that anyone should rescue an ant farm, let alone a dog breed, should you wind up in court, already has a stereotype that is going to either require that you retire much later than planned, or change how your currently retired.

That's all

Dogs that are going to make people fearful at the park just isn't my thing. I'd rather have a dog that children can pet.

Everyone is different

please don’t get a giant schnauzer to live out in a field like the one homesteading people on YouTube did šŸ˜† which I have brought up only because it still annoys me!
So it was normal for me to be highly confused why they got a schnauzer šŸ˜…
I find that channel really weird.

Yeah that’s true. A lot of them probably would be better off with another breed especially when they let it rot in the backyard because they don’t train or exercise it and it becomes a terror. But still, a lot of people just love the breeds and want one. But that said, I do think a lot of people fall victim to the whole ā€œthey’re the perfect family dogā€ thing and think they HAVE to have one because everyone else does or their neighbor has one or two and told them about them or whatever. And they don’t realize those calm dogs they see are the result of years of training plus exercise. I personally believe some people would be better off with NO dogs. But I believe Frenchies finally surpassed Labs last year for most popular breed. Not necessarily a good thing since a lot of people get BYB dogs but at least Frenchies might be a little easier for some.
I agree with this. So many people buy a dog because they think its going to act like someone elses.
