That is the difficulty of teaching them to stack! Thanks! Its a start he just needs to learn how to put his feet in the right spot. He will pose on anything though ill have to get some pictures.
Hand stacking is when you pick up and place the dogs feetWell right now im putting him into the stack so would that be hand stacking?
Maybe that would help having a spot for him to put his paws to teach him!Hand stacking is when you pick up and place the dogs feet
free stacking you lure the dog into position. you can use things for the dog to target with their feet to teach free stacking
Tuckers stacking is getting better but its still horrible. He just wont put his paws in the right positions. Sorry about the horrible pictures. View attachment 3592650View attachment 3592651View attachment 3592652
I think top picture the front feet and his head are the closets/correct position. Middle he is leaning forwards better then the others.OK. In this case, it's probably more of his body position that's causing you trouble. If his feet are in the right position but his body isn't, two things might happen.1. He'll move his feet. 2. He might look disproportionate. Most of the times the dog needs to bring their body forward

in the bottom one his back feet are the closest to correct
I could be wrong though![]()
Your three photos are an excellent example, actually. First photo his body is leaning back. Second photo looks great to me, with perfecting the head position you'll get a better top line. Third photo his body is leaning a little too far out
Thank you both! I know he definitely needs some work. And ill continue to work till i think that its perfect.I think top picture the front feet and his head are the closets/correct position. Middle he is leaning forwards better then the others.
