The only thing is that it’s solid, do I need to melt it?
One thing I like about CO is that you can scrape some up(flat toothpicks work great) stays solid until you touch it to membrane and then it melts...tho can apply too much, so small amounts.
I work on assisting hatches under a utility light with arm adjusted as low as possible to work surface, good for seeing and keeps things warmer.

Good idea! I figured I’d love a lamp down there and I have a box set up with a towel on it where I can work. I’ll be moving the camera back and forth between assisting and the bator so everything is documented

I CAN SEE 5 PUSHING AGAINST THE AIR CELL!!!

Not sure if there’s two in there though and no clue how I’d find out but I’ll go with it!

10 suddenly doesn’t have very visible veins anymore, is that because it’s hatching or did something go wrong?

Could be either with #10. Right now it’s important to sit back and let them do their thing. If 10 passed away you shouldnt have to worry about it because theres only a few days left so theres a pretty low chance it will affect the others, just leave it in there unless you’re certain its a goner, which would be hard to tell this late in incubation anyway. Try to resist candling too frequently. Youre doing great!

It’s so hard!!!! When I do check for internal pip I don’t move the egg, I hope the candler to the eggs themselves inside the bator cuz I figure once they pip it’ll be clear enough. Also added a humidifier to the room so when I open the bator it won’t change much!
