Thank you!! I’ll definitely get some just in case. What should I get for electrolytes? I’ve heard people use those too if their babies are sick. I’m sure Gatorade won’t do LOL
Pedialyte is best! Or Sav a chick. Nutridrench has both vitamins and electrolytes.

I think you should be fine without electrolytes though. They drink okay right?

EDIT: Oh! Do they get nutritional or brewers yeast at all?

They can if overdosed (difficult if in diet only), but electrolyte toxicity will lead to seizures. We accidentally did that with our duckling, so she started having seizures. Took her off the nutridrench and she was fine.

He’s probably okay, and you said he’s growing fine. May lead to problems later in life but that’s just a maybe too.

Kk so no electrolytes for now than! He’s growing like crazy and he’s drinking very well. And yes they’re getting 1 tbs of nutritional yeast per half cup of their starter mash! Usually even a little more. I also put a little bit of apple cider vinegar in their water for the last two days cuz their poop was a bit runny but back to normal now!

They’re in good hands. :thumbsup Maybe some vitamins will straighten it out or maybe not! He doesn’t seem to be bothered by it.

I would scale back the ACV since it breaks down calcium and growing ducklings need all they can get.

Inexperienced hands but I’m trying as hard as I can haha. Being a duck mom is hard!

Yes I already left it out of their last water since their poop is normal again right now. They’re soooooooooo cute, I just can’t get enough of them!

I do, but you don’t need to be detached from emotions in order to be one :)

I’m going to school to be a behavioral researcher so I feel the more emotionally invested I am the more I’ll be able to understand what I’m researching. Cuz being detached from something I’m spending a lot of time with just isn’t in my genes :gig

If anything, the potential heartbreak will just motivate me more to be better next time!
I personally have loved your passion throughout this whole process.
