Mine are coming up on 4 weeks and I can see a few that I’m watching for more growth, but it doesn’t seem overwhelmingly ratioed thank goodness. 3/8 I’m confident are boys

I think what I love most about Calla and Lily, is that they are both the sweetest little girls but also independent and confident too. They know when to get out of the way, they always visit me, and they fit in great with all the kids! Tonight I found Calla snuggled underneath my splash Ameraucana pullet, it was adorable

*they were cleaning themselves, that’s what the other chickens look all weird *

Mine wanna fit in with the other so badly but they just aren't havin it. Atleast they let them eat out of the same bowls now so progress!

Chicks are hatching in my golden/mix color pen!
Bad news is I found one dead, another egg zipped but not broken out and dead, another nearly dead, away from the moms and eggs! I put it back, hopeful for it. Another had just hatched and had some shell stuck to it, so I removed the stuck pieces, hopefully it will be ok.

First time moms, but I hope to see some chicks running around when I get back home.

This one was dead, anyone have a guess on color?
