d'Uccle Cult

Pics
I’m trying to encourage Tuffet to do his dang job and give me some babies!! :p I’m moving to a smaller house next summer and I want to just take some d’Uccles with me. I don’t want to break up my lil trio and I DEFINITELY can’t bring Tuffet with me, so I’m trying to convince them to make some lil baby girls I can bring with me 😬
Candles and relaxing music might help set the mood for em! 😃

I need decision help! It’s moving day for these little peepers…

Everyone is 6 weeks old, 8 D’Uccle, 3 bantam Brahma, 2 large fowl

We have an outdoor brooder in the coop that I want to move them to, but I’m not running heat out there right now. Temps are mid 50s at night and up to the 90s over the next week or so. I’ve been weaning them off the heat plate for the past week (it’s just a heating pad under a puppy play pen filled with paper cat litter). Would they be ok? They’re literally bouncing off the walls and ready to be done lol. My husband is done lol. We’ve had chicks inside for almost 6 months now 😅 I have a small group of 5 chicks I ferry in and out nightly, but they’re super easy and I just can’t imagine trying to collect these little flyers lol

I would say yes, they are ready! They have all the important feathers and each other if cold but they shouldn’t be! :)
