D'Uccle to Houdan??

Im wondering if i can breed a Mottled Houdan Roo to my mottled D'Uccle hen? Wondering about the size difference being a problem? since the Houdan is close to standard size, but my D'Uccle is slightly large for the breed.. what im trying to get is a mottled, feather footed, crested chicken out of the deal.. Figured id experiment a little but im not sure if its a good idea with the size difference... any ideas??
