Duck acting like she's playing in the tub... on living room floor...

Hi all. My duck is an inside duck, and I've noticed a couple of times now that she dips and fluffs herself up and flaps her wings a bit in the middle of my living room floor. It looks exactly like what she does when she's in the tub. Sometimes she does it after drinking from her water too. She often preens afterward. Is this just something they do before preening, just to get ready or something? Or is she trying to do something like a dust bath or something? Or is she trying to tell me that she needs a bath? Any ideas?
