Duck ate a hair tie

Hi, I have about a 3 week old pekin duck who is pretty big he is at that stage where he is really soft and is starting to grow real tail and underbelly feathers. Yesterday he was in the bath and grabbed a hair tie off the side and ate it before I could even grab it. It is a normal sized tie and I am pretty sure there was no metal on it, just elastic luckily. I have been giving him extra water and olive oil. Ur seems like his crop might be a little clogged, ugh. I’ve been massaging it. He is acting and swimming fine and eating. I’m not sure what to do. At this point it’s been about 24 hours and no hair tie has come out the other end. Not sure what
To do because I am a broke teenager and am not sure if vet is an option but I love this duck. Help!

If it doesn't seem to be bothering him yet, I would say it might be ok.
Watch him closely for signs of illness.
