Duck breed and gender!!

You have two ducks with at least one copy of the extended black allele. The one with the white bib has at least one mallard allele while the other one has two dusky alleles. That's really all we have to go on. Many, many hybrids look like these two ducks. They don't necessarily have any swedish in them.
Interesting! I am yet to look into their genetics to that extent, I was basing it on a broad breed classification. I will look further into this. Thank you for the help!

Once they have their last juvenile molt too they may even look different.
Well they are going through their first molt now. It started a few days ago and scared me when I first saw the abundance of feathers in the backyard. How many juvenile molts are there? Does it occur yearly after this?

Here is a short video I have taken a few days ago, it doesn't really capture the difference between their voices too well so I will take another soon. Cielo (left) has a little more of a raspy voice, no quack. While Cariño (right) isn't really quacking loud in this video, but you can hear hints of it coming through.

This one is a lot better. Cielo will only ever make that "yelling" sound, never once has quacked like Cariño. Cariño sure quacks loud 😂
